When I first started this piece, I wanted to create an image that brought different aspects together. I wanted to do something with a snow globe because I always loved how you could see other fairytales in snow-globes. In the first piece, I place a picture of the snow-globe to create that more fantasy allusion. I started a layer mask and took a brush with a hardness of 20% and lightly went over the middle of the snow globe to remove the original image inside it. I put this layer of the snow globe on top of the sky layer then took another brush to blend the snow globe into the clouds. In the second piece, I placed the image of Magic Kingdom within the snow globe and then took a brush with a small hardness and went around the snow globe's edges to create a more realistic look. I decided to add an outer glow to make it look snow to incorporate snow in the snow globe. In the third piece, I then created and masked a layer of a road. I thought it would be immaculate for the road to fade into the snow globe as it does. To create a shadow of the road, I took a black brush, turned the opacity down, and lightly went around the road's edges.
For the final part of this piece, I created an image of Cinderella. After that, I made a layer mask to help place her in the most realistic spot on the road. I decided to put Cinderella on the street because I wanted the viewer to believe that she is walking away from the castle towards her fantasy. I then created another layer to add a shadow. I used a soft brush and went around the edges of her to create a realistic look.
For this piece, I wanted to recreate the scene where Cinderella was left at home to clean during the castle's ball. I decided to do this scene because I had the perfect idea of recreating it on photoshop. First, I got an image off of google of an empty balcony; then, I created a layer mask to get rid of the background. I then got a picture of the Magic Kingdom and placed that layer behind the balcony layer to see the castle through the window. I then took a very soft brush and went around each window pane so that the Magic Kingdom's image would blend better in the background and look more real. The whole piece's colors would match better. I adjusted the coloring of the entire work through curves and brightness. Finally, I added a picture of Cinderella cleaning the floor. I created a layer mask and went around the edge of her with a soft brush. Then I used the stamp tool to stamp parts of her body because there were weird effects on her.

To finish off this piece, I went back and padded different shadows and lightings. To make this as realistic as possible, I used what was taught in the lesson to my class and applied what I learned to finish this piece. To make sure that my work had the same tone of colors, I created a new layer to adjust the entire piece's saturation and curves. I then grouped the layers so that it would only apply to one image. Then I used my eyedropper tool to get the same purples and blue to add lighting on the girl and create a shadow that showed depth.
When creating this piece, I wanted to do something different from the other pieces incorporating various photoshop tools. I decided to use a gloomy forest as my background because I wanted this piece's theme to create suspense. In the second image, I placed a picture of a hand and made a layer mask so that it would be easier to blend and change the adjustments. I used the curves to take down the hand's brightness to merge in smoother with the background. I then increased the contrast a tad bit so that the hand would be more defined. In the picture, I then placed a glass slipper in hand to represent Cinderella due to the glass slipper having major significance throughout the fairytale. I took down the slipper's opacity so that it would appear as "glass," and you could see through it.  I created another layer so that I would be able to erase parts of the brush so that the glass slipper would sit in the man's hand.
To give my piece my suspense, I decided to add blood. To create blood, I used many different brushes to create a realistic look. I first took a super soft brush and dropped the opacity all the way down along with the hardness. I took a bright red brush and lightly went around the had to create the allusion of blood. After that, I took a "splatter" brush and splattered red paint to make it look like splattered blood.
